Dubai, May 4:
The Emirates Konkans of Kasaragod hosted a vibrant finale of their much-anticipated annual sports gathering, Kelothsav, on Saturday night at the Sports Bay Stadium, Dubai. The event brought together more than 100 enthusiastic community members, celebrating not just competitive spirit but also unity and tradition.





The evening kicked off at 7 PM with a prayer song, followed by a warm welcome by founder President Santhosh Perla. Esteemed guests included Rony Crasta from Bela, one of the oldest NRI members from Kasaragod, and Raju Ukkinadka, who graced the occasion with their presence and encouraging words.


Kelothsav 2025 featured high-energy tournaments in cricket and dodgeball, with a total of six cricket teams and three dodgeball teams participating. After intense competition in Cricket, United KL 14 became winners in cricket by defeating Sporting Ksd . With overall standings with 80 points energetic Atletico Casrod secured the championship in f 2024-25 .

In addition to the sporting action, the event featured several creative and family-friendly activities such as palm painting, photo frame making, mehendi design, kite flying, and more—ensuring engagement for attendees of all ages and dinner.

The program wrapped up around 2:30 AM, leaving participants with cherished memories and a renewed sense of community. Organizers have hinted at more innovative and inclusive programs in the near future and have invited feedback from all participants to help shape upcoming events.

President Laila DSouza conveyed vote of Thanks. Stegita ,Santhosh Talapady , Deepak Dsouza, Edward Bela and Mithun Kumbla compered the entire event.
