The competition is heating up among UK supermarkets as they vie for customers’ Easter spending. Lidl, Aldi, and Sainsbury’s have all announced significant price reductions on popular roast dinner vegetables, dropping prices to a mere 15p.

Lidl was the first to announce the price cuts on Tuesday, April 15th, with Aldi quickly following suit. Not to be outdone, Sainsbury’s has also unveiled its 15p vegetable offer, available to Nectar card holders.
This aggressive pricing strategy is a win for consumers, who can take advantage of the rock-bottom prices to purchase the ingredients for their Easter celebrations.
